Ricky Morton Expresses Disappointment With Talent Involved In Scary Leon Slater Spot At TNA Rebellion

Ricky Morton took to social media to express disappointment with those involved in Leon Slater‘s spot at TNA Rebellion.

In a recent post on X, Morton said he was upset with the talent involved in Slater’s spot. Morton said that Slater gave the group his trust, and they “dropped him” instead.

“I’m disappointed. Leon gave you his trust and body on the line for an amazing moment & all of you DROPPED him,” said Morton. “Thank God he walked away. In our business, trust is everything and his trust may never be the same.”

The spot in question came during TNA Rebellion’s X Division Championship match. Slater was one of six competitors in the Ultimate X match that took place. There, he competed against Moose, KC Navarro, Matt Cardona, El Hijo del Vikingo and Sidney Akeem for the X Division title.

At one point in the match, Leon Slater climbed the X structure and did a senton 450º splash on the floor towards all of his opponents. Normally, Slater would be caught by his opponents on the way down. However, a miscommunication or poor placement led to Slater crashing down hard and hitting the floor without anything to break his fall.

Thankfully for Slater, things turned out okay. The superstar took to social media and said that he was fine. Other wrestlers also took to social media to share their shock and amazement at the spot.
