TNA iMPACT Results

TNA iMPACT starts now!

EC3 vs. Eric Young – No Disqualifications Match

  • The match ended with Eric Young hitting EC3 with a piledriver onto a chair to secure the victory.

Winner: Eric Young

Grade: B-

Eric Young spoiled EC3’s return with a decisive victory in a match that featured several memorable moments. Spots like EC3 hitting the One Percenter on Young while his head was wrapped in a chair, along with EC3 being driven through a table with a piledriver, helped make the bout entertaining.

That said, the overall feud still came across as somewhat underwhelming. While the result likely gives Young momentum ahead of Ricky Sosa’s eventual return, it raises questions about the direction of EC3’s comeback. After weeks of crusade-style promos, having him lose to Young in a gimmick match made the storyline feel less meaningful. There is also an argument to be made that EC3 could have been used in a role that helped elevate a younger talent instead.

We hear from Arianna Grace

Arianna Grace addresses her upcoming TNA iMPACT main event for the Knockouts World Championship, blaming her father, Santino Marella, for putting her in a rematch against Lei Ying Lee.

Meanwhile, Stacks sounds confident about his fiancée’s chances of retaining the title. Grace says that means Stacks could have some plans in motion. He responds by saying he always has plans before showing some PDA, which gives Gia Miller a nauseating feeling.

Do you wanna know somethin…

The System addresses its matches for tonight’s show. Brian Myers and Bear Bronson send a warning to Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro ahead of their tag team title defense.

Meanwhile, Cedric Alexander claims he will defeat Leon Slater for the X-Division Championship next week. Eddie Edwards then declares that tonight will end with a monumental victory for The System.

‘Your boobs are fake’

Elayna Black says she is the number one Knockout in the division and claims she is the only Knockout that matters in TNA. She questions why she does not have a spot in tonight’s Knockouts World Title match but says it will not matter because she is coming after the winner of the main event between Arianna Grace and Lei Ying Lee.

Black continues mocking the Knockouts Division and calls herself “business,” prompting Ash By Elegance to interrupt. Ash fires back by calling Elayna a “gothic prostitute.” The former Knockouts Champion then refers to herself as an empire and begins comparing money and wealth with Black.

Indi Hartwell then appears and questions why the two are comparing bank accounts and checks when there is a title match happening later tonight. Black leaves the ring and allows the two to continue their confrontation.

Hartwell unloads on Ash with several insults, mocking her appearance by calling her teeth and breasts fake before dropping her with a strike. The segment ends with Hartwell standing tall while Ash and Elayna watch from ringside.

Santino Marella’s TNA iMPACT return sabotaged

Daria Rae is shown on a phone call with someone backstage. She responds sarcastically after learning that Santino Marella’s flight has been canceled, saying that it means she now has to make all the decisions tonight.

After the conversation ends, Rae flashes an evil smile, strongly implying that she may be behind the situation.

The System (Bear Bronson & Brian Myers) (c) vs. Nic Nemeth & KC Navarro – TNA World Tag Team Title Match

  • The finish of the match saw Bear Bronson hit KC Navarro with the Bear Down for the win.

Winners and still TNA World Tag Team Champions: Bear Bronson and Brian Myers

Eddie Edwards is holding a microphone and says The System wants to keep the momentum going. He calls out Leon Slater and Moose for their tag team match.

Slater appears first, followed by Moose, who joins his tag team partner as the third match of the night officially kicks off.

Grade: B+

Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro showed strong chemistry despite it being their first time teaming together on television. A standout moment came when Bear Bronson reversed Navarro’s finisher into his own move, creating a smooth and impactful spot.

The match also transitioned quickly into the next segment without any wasted time, helping maintain the overall pacing of the show.

Leon Slater & Moose vs. Cedric Alexander & Eddie Edwards

  • The match ended with Moose reversing Eddie Edwards’ pinfall attempt into one of his own to secure the victory.

Winners: Leon Slater and Moose

Grade: A-

The crowd was the weakest part of the match, especially considering how strong the in-ring action was. The match itself delivered well, and all four competitors were given enough time to tell their story.

The bout was structured effectively, allowing each man to have his moment to shine. Keeping Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander out of the pinfall sequence is an interesting choice, as it preserves intrigue heading into their two-out-of-three falls match next week on TNA iMPACT.

The Hardys address The Righteous

A vignette featuring The Hardys airs, where they address The Righteous.

For those unaware, Matt Hardy recently revived his Broken Matt persona on TNA iMPACT. In tonight’s vignette, Jeff Hardy teases the return of his Brother Nero character. The segment ends with a striking visual as his pupils turn completely white, signaling a darker transformation ahead.

We hear from Mike Santana

Mike Santana is in the ring and says he promised to bring TNA back to its essence when he was fighting to bring the TNA World Championship back from NXT. He references his match with Rich Swann last week, saying that’s exactly what he meant because they tore the house down.

Santana says he is out there to hand-pick his next opponent, but Daria Rae interrupts. She says that is not happening because the conversation is starting to hurt her head, adding that Santana does not make his own matches or pick his own opponents.

Rae mocks Santana’s performance against Swann on TNA iMPACT, then states that since Santino Marella is not here, she has to make the decisions. She then announces a battle royal for next week to determine the new number one contender.

Santana responds that it does not matter because the outcome will remain the same with “my foot up their asses.” His music hits, but Rae immediately tells production to cut it and instead plays her own music as the segment ends.

AJ Francis challenges KC Navarro to a match

AJ Francis addresses KC Navarro, calling him a “pink-haired freak” who has been a constant thorn in his side since their FIR$T CLA$$ days.

Francis then officially announces a “Sacktown Street Fight” between the former tag team partners, set for next week on live TNA iMPACT.

KC Navarro responds

KC Navarro responds to the challenge from AJ Francis, saying Francis can talk all the trash he wants while he was working his way back from an eight-month absence.

Navarro claims FIR$T CLA$$ only became relevant once he joined the group, adding that Francis has never cared about relationships, only money. He says he still pushed to compete for the tag team titles alongside Francis despite tearing his ACL.

He reflects on his recovery journey, saying he spent those eight months rebuilding both physically and personally. Navarro also references his uncle’s illness, saying it deeply affected him because his uncle only wanted to see his nephew return to in-ring competition.

Navarro then puts over Nic Nemeth as his hero, stating they could have won the tag team titles together tonight. However, he adds that if he cannot win championships alongside Nemeth, then he does not need to continue teaming with him.

He criticizes Francis for claiming he does not belong in TNA, insisting instead that he is “TNA’s blessed” and “AMC’s blessed.” Navarro ends by declaring that next week he will put an end to his feud with Francis.

Arianna Grace (c) vs. Lei Ying Lee – TNA Knockouts World Title Match

The finish of the match saw Lei Ying Lee hit Arianna Grace with a neckbreaker from the top rope to secure the win.

Winner and new TNA Knockouts World Champion: Lei Ying Lee

As Lei Ying Lee celebrates her victory in the ring, cameras cut backstage where Moose is shown lying unconscious, with a steel guardrail on top of him.

Security rushes in to check on the former TNA World Champion as the show goes off the air.

Grade: B-

Arianna Grace’s reign of terror has come to an end. Commentary noted after the match that all TNA championships have now “returned home,” signaling an end to title exchanges between TNA Wrestling and NXT.

In terms of the match itself, it was slightly better than their previous encounter at TNA Rebellion. With the Knockouts Title back in TNA, the company now has an opportunity to rebuild the division around stars such as Indi Hartwell and Elayna Black.

That said, while nothing is taken away from Lei Ying Lee, there are still questions about her overall charisma compared to other competitors in the division. Still, she walks away as a two-time Knockouts World Champion, which marks a significant achievement in her career.

Overall Grade: B-

An interesting episode, with Lei Ying Lee’s title win emerging as the biggest highlight of the night. I did enjoy some spots from the opening match, but like I mentioned earlier, the payoff felt flat. Hopefully, Eric Young resumes his program with Ricky Sosa next week. As for EC3, it appears his crusade is over before it even really began.

Indi Hartwell’s promo exchange with Ash By Elegance was funny. It is the second time this week we got a “boobs” reference on wrestling TV. Not sure what to make of that, but it stood out. Check out this segment from AEW Dynamite for comparison.

The men’s tag team match was my favorite of the night, featuring some strong in-ring action. TNA ending this week’s episode on a cliffhanger with the mystery attack on Moose has me wondering if Leon Slater will be able to retain his title next week, especially if Moose is not there to fend off The System.

KC Navarro also delivered a strong promo. I have not seen much of his work before, but the kid clearly has heart and can talk. That is one of the most important qualities needed to thrive in this industry, where many can execute a sequence of moves, but very few truly stand out on the mic.

That’s is for tonight, and this writer will be back with more iMPACT coverage next week.
