Here’s Why AEW Chose To Air Collision On TBS This Week

AEW Collision is airing on TBS this Saturday instead of their usual TNT slot, and now we know the reason.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp said AEW would’ve had to pre-empt had they stayed on TNT due to “multiple NBA game 7 scenarios.”

“The reason AEW is on TBS Saturday is because there were multiple NBA game 7 scenarios that would have caused them to pre-empt if they stayed on TNT. They chose TBS to avoid the risk,” Sapp wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

TNT will only have to deal with one Game 7 scenario now, as many playoff series have wrapped up. TNT will air Game 7 between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets on Saturday starting at 7:30 ET.

  • Brody King vs. Josh Alexander – Singles match
