The Wrestling World Reacts To Sabu Passing Away

ECW Legend Sabu passed away this weekend, and his sudden passing hit the wrestling world extremely hard.

Sabu was just present in Las Vegas last month during WrestleMania 41 weekend. Where he got to interact with a lot of close friends he’s made in the world of wrestling, one last time.

One friend who shared their interaction last month is All Elite Wrestling’s MVP, who took to social media to mourn the loss of his friend in a series of posts, tweeting out:

“I thought Sabu would outlive us all… *Crying face emoji* I’m sipping a beer and thinking about Sabu. Hack Myers (RIP) introduced us when I was just starting. Hack vouched for me. On that, Sabu gave me a pass & the chance to earn his trust. We became friends. He looked out for me & vouched for me in front of other vets.

“Sabu was always good to ME! When I was “Antonio Banks” on the indies, he always had time for me. Always put me over to the promoters whenever we were booked on shows together. He literally gave his body to the biz. He lives on forever as a legend in our industry.

“I’m glad I saw him in Vegas after his match in his dressing room. He was a mess. He stood and gave me a safe hug, not wanting to bleed on my suit. I asked him if he was OK. He said he was. We agreed to burn one later. I said, “I love you man.” Sabu said “Love you too brother.” *Salute emoji,*” MVP said in a series of posts.

Here is a collection of several posts from wrestlers on social media paying tribute to the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac.
