We have some unfortunate news regarding Adam Cole this afternoon on AEW All In: Texas Zero Hour.
During the Zero Hour broadcast, Renee Paquette announced that Tony Khan is unable to clear Adam Cole to compete at AEW All In: Texas. A four-way is announced between Kyle Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Dustin Rhodes, and Sammy Guevara to crown a new TNT Champion.
This doesn’t appear to be an Interim Title match, so it appears that Cole’s injury is rather serious and he’s been stripped of the TNT Title.
Tony Khan also went live on social media this afternoon to make the unfortunate announcement that Cole would not be medically cleared. You can watch Khan’s statement in the embedded video below:

Adam Cole teased retirement, and AEW crowned a new TNT Champion
Later in the show, Cole came to the ring to address the crowd. He said he has some health issues that are keeping him out of the ring, and he’ll be gone for a while. Cole doesn’t want to think about retirement right now, but he wanted to address the crowd if this is goodbye. Cole thanked them for being part of his career, from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. He was visibly tearing up as he delivered his remarks, and thanked everyone there for changing his life.
Paragon’s Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong came to the ring and hugged Cole, who delivered another ‘Bay Bay’ pose before leaving.
Due to Cole vacating the title, the four-way match was added to the match card. That match took place after Cole’s speech, with Dustin Rhodes winning the vacant TNT Championship.
After wrestling 3 matches in 24 hours, @DustinRhodes is your NEW TNT Champion!
