The AEW World Championship will be on the line at Forbidden Door.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF made his play at the belt. He and Adam Page took to the ring to face off. With his Casino Gauntlet contract in the picture, MJF said he just had to pick when he’d take the title from Page.
This led to some back and forth between the pair that quickly got chaotic.
Page called MJF a coward, something that clearly agitated him. Page said MJF was too afraid to call his shot for a match at Forbidden Door. This led to MJF getting even more frustrated, and eventually led to him confirming the match for the big pay-per-view, to which Page thanked the “dumbass” for doing.
AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door will take place on August 24, 2025, at The O2 Arena in London, England. So far, the fully updated card for the event is as follows:
