Vince McMahon may have been disgraced in the public eye over the last few years, but that doesn’t mean WWE superstars have stopped showing their love and support for the former Chairman of the Board.
A previous report from PWInsider noted that Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday celebration on August 23 in New York had a slew of WWE names in attendance, including The Undertaker, John Cena, Sheamus, and JBL.
It appears these men weren’t the only guests at the event, as a new picture, supposedly from the celebration, has since popped up on social media. The post, uploaded by WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler, shows him posing for a photo alongside Titus O’Neil, The Miz and Maryse, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre.
Shortly after the photo gained attention, Lawler deleted the post from his feed.
It is safe to say that Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday was a star-studded affair, despite the news about it being tightly-lipped—presumably due to public opinion of McMahon in the aftermath of the Janel Grant lawsuit.
The former WWE boss was recently profiled by TMZ for a documentary on Hulk Hogan that was released in the aftermath of the Hulkster’s demise. Fans can read McMahon’s comments on Hogan’s passing here.
