AEW Collision Results:
This week’s episode of Collision kicks off with Ian Riccaboni in the ring, and he brings out MJF. Friedman tells Riccaboni he’s gonna stand there as a good little mic stand. MJF buries the city of Philadelphia and says the fans there are just as stupid as Mark Briscoe.
Before @The_MJF has even heard what the stipulation is, he’s sounding pretty confident about his chances against @SussexCoChicken at #AEWAllOut next week!

MJF says what he did last week to Briscoe was an eye for an eye, but for some reason, he’s the bad guy. Friedman buries Briscoe on the microphone and says he has no problem letting him pick the stipulation for their match at All Out because people like him work hard day in and day out, and it doesn’t change anything.
Mark Briscoe appears on the Tron. Briscoe thanks MJF for giving him a sense of excitement that he hasn’t felt since he was a boy waiting on Santa Claus. Briscoe says he has so many thoughts in his head for their stipulation, and everything sounds so good. Mark pitches a TNT match at All Out, which is Tables N’ Tacks. Honestly, a pretty disappointing match as far as I’m concerned.
The mindset @SussexCoChicken has been put in by @The_MJF lead him to create a whole new match type for #AEWAllOut, Tables N’Tacks!

Briscoe says he has a wedding gift for Max and tells him to turn around. Briscoe is in the ring and hits him with a pear. Mark drops a bunch of thumbtacks in the ring and tries to hit MJF with a Jay Driller, but Friedman escapes and runs away.
Paragon isn’t pleased with Daniel Garcia
We get a video package recapping the end of Dynamite, where Daniel Garcia turned on Darby Allin and joined the Death Riders.
Lexi Nair is backstage with Hologram and Paragon. Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong hype up their tag match against Garcia and Jon Moxley later on this evening.
.@KORcombat and @roderickstrong address what went down with Daniel Garcia on #AEWDynamite, but did @AEWHologram just glitch?!

Very good match to kick off Collision tonight. When they let Bowens work, he can do great things. Obviously, Takeshita is great all on his own. It’s very clear that it’s only a matter of time until Takeshita is out of the Don Callis Family and becomes one of the company’s top babyfaces.
Toni Storm joins the commentary team for the next matchup.
$500K 5-on-5 Collision: Jamie Hayter, TayJay, Kris Statlander, and Harley Cameron vs. Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne, and Penelope Ford
- The finish of the match saw Thekla hit Anna Jay with a spear to score the pinfall victory for her team.
Winners: Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, and the Triangle of Madness

After the match, the brawl between the two teams continued. Mina Shirakawa, Queen Aminata, and Toni Storm join the fray. It concludes with Storm reversing a spear from Thekla and hitting her with a Storm Zero.

This was a great showcase of the current depth of the AEW Women’s Division. I know there are quite a few people sidelined with injuries at the moment, but I think this match should be enough to tell people that the division is still in very good hands.
Who’s beating up Max Caster now?
Big Bill answers Max Caster’s open challenge.
Max Caster vs. Big Bill (w/ Bryan Keith)
- The finish of the match saw Big Bill hit Max Caster with a Blackhole Slam to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Big Bill
After the match, Big Bill calls out Eddie Kingston again and says that at least Max Caster had the balls to show up. Bill says the fans hate him because they all look like Kingston, and he looks as good as he does. Bill runs down Japanese wrestling to get under Kingston’s skin and says their match will take place next Saturday in Toronto at All Out. Big Bill says Kingston won’t show up because he’s a loudmouth fraud.

I typically have enjoyed these Max Caster squashes, but this one went too long and just wasn’t entertaining. The promo after wasn’t much better. I’m very much looking forward to Eddie Kingston coming back, but he needs to run over Bill in a hurry and move on to another feud as soon as possible if tonight was any indication.
Could The Acclaimed reform?
Jerry Lynn is backstage with Anthony Bowens. Lynn says last week that Bowens was missing something, but maybe he was missing someone. Caster storms backstage after his match and bumps into Bowens, and the two brawl backstage and into the ring.

Jerry Lynn hits the ring and breaks it up. Lynn tries to convince Caster and Bowens to get back together. Blake Christian and Lee Johnson come out and run down Lynn for trying to put The Acclaimed back together. Christian says Lynn should be investing his time in a tag team like them instead. Lynn is ready to fight and gets overwhelmed by The Swirl, and Caster joins in to help out.
Anthony Bowens is conflicted outside but returns to the ring to help out. The three of them take care of The Swirl, and Lynn tries to raise Caster and Bowens’ hands. But both men pull away and exit the ring.
Surprising teamwork from @Bowens_Official + @PlatinumMax!

I liked this even better than their match last week. Initially, I didn’t think they needed to have an immediate rematch, but honestly, that ruled. Easily my favorite thing so far on tonight’s show. That was excellent tag team wrestling!
AEW All Out keeps getting bigger!
A huge four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles is announced for All Out. Three qualifying matches will take place on the September to Remember Dynamite special this Wednesday night.
NEXT WEEK at #AEWAllOut, #AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (@Brodyxking & @bandidowrestler) put their titles on the line in a 4-Way Ladder Match!

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita comes out and points at Okada. All the while, Don Callis is oblivious to the troubles brewing for his faction.
Grade: B+
Look, I really enjoyed the match. It was very entertaining. There’s no denying that at all. But Oku, as of this writing, isn’t even signed with AEW. What has he done in this company to get a shot at the company’s second most important men’s singles title? This spot should have been reserved for someone like Hologram. They could have easily done Oku against Takeshita instead and accomplished the exact same thing.
Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia (w/ Marina Shafir) vs. Paragon
- The finish of the match saw Daniel Garcia lock Kyle O’Reilly in the Dragon Tamer to win the matchup via submission.
Winners: Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia

After the match, Daddy Magic begged Garcia to look at him and explain his actions, but he refused and left with the Death Riders as AEW Collision went off the air.
AEW Collision Review:
This was a very good episode of Collision. We got a lot of big announcements for All Out next weekend, as well as a lot of great in-ring action.
With no Collision next week, a 3-hour Dynamite special should certainly make up for that. Bring on September to Remember.
