Almost a week after his release, we continue to learn more information about what went down between Andrade and WWE.
Last weekend, wrestling fans got a shock when it was reported that Andrade was gone from WWE. He returned to the company at the 2024 Royal Rumble and was gone less than two years later. So what exactly happened?
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some in the company were frustrated over Andrade’s English not improving.
One WWE source told Meltzer that there was a feeling of “buyer’s remorse” with El Idolo expecting him to return to the company to similar fanfare that Cody Rhodes and CM Punk did after their time in AEW.
This week, Andrade has kept himself in the news by having a very heated back-and-forth with MJF on social media.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on what’s next for El Idolo as it becomes available.
