Ex-WWE Star Disappointed Over Release: I Always Thought Triple H Believed in Me

Professional wrestling is a competitive and unpredictable business. From time to time, the talent might get let go from the promotion for various reasons. There are times when the wrestlers themselves ask for their release, as they are not happy in the promotion.

Sometimes, the creative team might not have anything for the wrestler. Or the management does not know what to do with a talent, and thus, they might be released. One such star that was released was the Ballsy Badass Shotzi Blackheart. The former WWE Superstar reflected on her release and shared that she always thought WWE CCO Triple H believed in her.

Shotzi Blackheart was a special guest on the former WWE Superstar Saraya‘s podcast, Rulebreakers. During the interview, the Ballsy Badass reflected on her ACL tear and also mentioned the fact that she was not surprised that she was being let go.

“Yes and no. I had just came back from an ACL tear. So, coming back from a huge injury and not being on TV for like almost a year, I was kind of not surprised. They’re just like we lasted a year without you, so we’ll just let you go now that your contract is up. In that aspect, I wasn’t really surprised.” [H/T WrestlingNews.co]

The Ballsy Badass also mentioned that while she wasn’t really surprised about the release, she always felt that Triple H always believed in her. After she heard that she was being let go, she was disappointed.

“I don’t know, I always thought that Hunter [Triple H] really believed in me, so it was a little disappointing. Yeah, I just felt like, dang, they gave up on me,” Shotzi Blackheart said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
