Last week on SmackDown, the main event had an awkward ending. A pinfall that did not go as planned created chaos, which ended up being a bad match. The match was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s Champion. The champion Tiffany Stratton put her title on the line against Jade Cargill and the Irresistible Force Nia Jax.
While Stratton retained her title, the finish was awkward leaving a sour taste among the fans. It was Jax who kicked out nearly ten seconds after the referee counted two. Thus, the fans began to blame the former WWE Women’s Champion, claiming that she should not be a part of the WWE roster.
It is also to be noted that earlier in the match, Jax shoved Cargill onto the steel steps. Cargill fell headfirst onto the sharp edge of the steps and was thus busted wide open. Many also claimed that Nia Jax did this on purpose and that she intentionally wanted to hurt Cargill. There was also some chatter on social media claiming that Jax is an unsafe worker.
Upon seeing all the hate that Nia Jax was receiving, the former WWE Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green, took to Twitter to defend the Irresistible Force. Green claimed that Jax is one of the best female talents on the roster. She also shared that she and the rest of the women are lucky to have Jax as a locker room leader.
“The internet not knowing that Nia is one of the best is the biggest travesty. We’re lucky to have her as a locker room leader,” Chelsea Green tweeted.
