What will Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace be doing next week when WWE NXT collides with TNA Wrestling at Showdown?
Last night on WWE NXT, despite their extensive history with both sides, Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry were left on the outside looking in of the men’s and women’s Survivor Series matches that will see TNA take on NXT.
While it was hilarious to hear Kelani Jordan of all people tell Jordynne Grace that she has a foot in both companies and can’t be trusted, just like Joe Hendry, there has to be more to this for these two talented stars.
Last night’s segment ended with Hendry and Grace agreeing they needed to do something to guarantee their involvement in next week’s event. And with them having an interest in both sides of the coin, we have the perfect solution.
Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry should be the respective referees for the men’s and women’s Survivor Series matches.
Hendry is currently a TNA contracted wrestler, but is appearing for NXT a lot more than his home company. While Grace is a contracted NXT wrestler, her ties to TNA are legendary. And her desire to be on team TNA next week shows that she hasn’t abandoned her love of the brand.
As Kelani put it, both performers have their feet in both companies. So it would make sense to let them be the referees for these matches to determine which company comes out on top.
