Darby Allin might have lost the coffin match to Jon Moxley at All Out, but he’s not going down this weekend at WrestleDream unless something extreme happens.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Darby Allin was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. While discussing this weekend’s I Quit match against Jon Moxley at WrestleDream, Allin made it clear that he would rather die than say the words “I quit.”
“Yeah, it’s everything to me,” Darby Allin said. “I put my life into this, I’ve sacrificed so much physically and mentally into this storyline and i feel like this is the end on Saturday. Just like I gave everybody my word that I was going to summit Mount Everest, I’m giving everybody my word that I’m not going to say I quit. I would rather die than say I quit. I mean that. There’s a lot of people in wrestling like, ‘You’ll have to kill me.’ No, literally, I don’t give a shit if I die, so you’ll have to kill me.” [H/T: Fightful]
Jon Moxley takes issue with Batman’s refusal to kill The Joker
While Jon Moxley might not be looking to kill Allin this weekend, he certainly feels strongly about Batman’s refusal to kill his longstanding rival, The Joker, in the DC Universe.
“The Red Hood gets business done usually. I wouldn’t have Batman, at a certain point, like, are you just not gonna kill the Joker? It’s getting ridiculous. I’m a pragmatist. It’s just come on, what are we doing here? I just can’t get with that. One chance, maybe two. Okay, by the third time you’ve escaped Arkham and gone on a murdering spree, like, would you shoot him? Somebody f*cking shoot him,” Jon Moxley told The Sportster.
