Alexa Bliss and Lyra Valkyria had to improvise a bit after they had an unfortunate mishap in the ring.
Bliss and Charlotte, the Allies of Convenience, defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Lyra and Bayley in the main event of RAW on Netflix. At one point in the match, Alexa went for a crossbody block from the middle rope. Lyra caught her in midair and hoisted Alexa up on her shoulders for her Nightwing (Samoan driver) finishing move. As she came down and went for the pin, Lyra’s hair got stuck in Alexa’s top.
As seen on the broadcast, the pair tried to get free from each other. However, Alexa ultimately had to remove the outermost layer of her ring gear while Lyra rolled outside. The cameras quickly cut away to Charlotte while Bayley assisted her teammate by trying to get Bliss’s shirt untangled from her hair.
Bliss was still fully clothed, but it was still an awkward moment in what was an exciting main event title match. Bliss and Flair went on to win the match and retain the titles.
