WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently shared that he hasn’t spoken to former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in over two years.
In an interview with Going Ringside, WWE legend Kurt Angle was asked about Vince McMahon, who in recent years has been involved in controversies over allegations of sexual assault and trafficking. Angle said he hasn’t spoken to McMahon but still wishes him well. Angle noted that McMahon always treated him with respect during his time in WWE.
“Yes, he has [had a difficult two years], God bless him. I have not spoken to Vince in at least two years. You know, I wish him well. He treated me very well. He gave me an opportunity. I’m very thankful for that.”
Angle also talked about his famous milk-loving gimmick. He laughed about a misunderstanding that started when he joked on a past podcast appearance that he didn’t actually like milk.
“I love milk! Yeah, it’s my favorite drink. You know what, I had a podcast I did a couple years ago and I was joking around,” Angle explained. “I said, ‘You know guys, I don’t even like milk.’ And it got out there like Kurt Angle doesn’t even like milk. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m just kidding, guys. Obviously, I do love milk.” [H/T: 411mania]
When he had knee replacement surgery in 2023, Angle said he had to switch things up a bit and had to drink 2% milk instead of whole milk to keep his weight down.
When asked if he ever tried to get a milk sponsorship, Angle said he was working on a project with his PR company, but nothing ever followed.
