Ricochet Says He Helped Come Up With Women’s Tag Team Spot On AEW Dynamite

Ricochet is taking some credit for a viral tag team spot from this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament continued on the November 5 broadcast of Dynamite, featuring Mercedes Moné and Athena teaming up against Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron.

During the match, the heels executed an impressive tag team spot when Athena picked up Mone for a modified Moné Maker on Cameron, resulting in a nearfall. Cameron and Nightingale eventually secured the win after a distraction from AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander.

After the sequence went viral on social media, Ricochet claimed he assisted the women in coming up with the spot. Given Ricochet’s reputation for innovative athleticism, it wouldn’t be surprising for him to help design the move.

“I helped them come up with this! Sick!”

Ricochet also appeared on AEW Dynamite alongside Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) to confront The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP). After a heated exchange with MVP, Ricochet vowed to walk out of Full Gear as the inaugural AEW National Champion.
