Chris Jericho: TNA Looked Like The Second Biggest Wrestling Company In The World At Bound For Glory

Chris Jericho continues to fan the flames that he won’t be with AEW much longer after heaping praise on a recent TNA Wrestling event.

On the latest episode of Talk is Jericho, the All Elite Wrestling star heaped large amounts of praise on the presentation we saw at TNA Bound For Glory last month. Going as far as to say they looked like the second biggest wrestling company in the world, and taking a shot at AEW’s recent run at the 2300 Arena.

“That crowd looked huge. It looked huge,” Chris Jericho said. “It was like a WWE-level crowd. The place was packed. I was watching this and, not saying anything out of school here, but comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Condello taping — sorry, it did — TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world, and that was amazing. And the presentation was amazing.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

Is Chris Jericho returning to WWE?

These comments by Chris Jericho will only continue to convince fans that the former AEW World Champion is on his way back to WWE when his contract with the company expires later this year. Jericho recently spoke with the Daily Mail at Halloween Horror Nights. When asked about the online reports that he’s heading back to WWE after his AEW contract expires, Jericho said he’s not going anywhere anytime soon, but didn’t rule out a potential return to his former company either.

“The best thing that could happen in wrestling is AEW, and the fact that there’s two huge promotions that you can choose from just makes it better for the guys,” Chris Jericho said. “It makes it better for the fans and everybody in between. So I’m not going anywhere for a while.

“I’m still with AEW for right now. Would I go back to WWE? I wouldn’t be opposed to it; we’ll just have to see what happens. But the best thing that could happen is to have two great teams that you can play for, and that just makes everything bigger and more exciting.”
