MLW Announces Return To Orlando For Battle Riot VIII

MLW is returning to Orlando for Battle Riot VIII.

According to a statement, Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot VIII will emanate from the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Orlando, Florida, on January 29, 2026.

The event will be presented by Danny McBride’s Don Gato Tequila, which is also MLW’s official partner for their upcoming live event on November 20.

“Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 10:00 a.m. ET at MLWLive.com and Ticketmaster. In celebration of the fans who helped relaunch MLW in Orlando in 2017, this special Fan Appreciation Night will feature tickets starting at just $10,” per the statement.

MLW has been hosting Battle Riot since 2018, when the promotion debuted the event at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York. The featured match on the card is the 40-man Battle Riot match, where competitors clash in a hybrid rumble-meets-street-fight showdown. Eliminations occur by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope, with the MLW World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

The most recent Battle Riot event took place at Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach, California, on April 25, 2025. The main event saw Matt Riddle retain his MLW World Heavyweight Championship against 39 other participants, including former WWE Superstars Baron Corbin (aka Bishop Dyer) and Jinder Mahal (Raj Dhesi).
