CM Punk has hailed a fellow WWE Superstar as the future of the industry, despite their ongoing feud.
During a recent appearance on Barstool Sports’ Mostly Sports podcast, the current World Heavyweight Champion was asked if he sees Bron Breakker as the future of the business.
“Yeah, I do,” Punk said. “Whether I like it or not. And he’s somebody that I think you wouldn’t be able to stop if you tried. He’s got all the tools.
“Second-generation superstar. You know, his dad and his uncle were possibly one of the greatest tag teams of the ’80s and ’90s.
“So, yeah, he’s one of those blue-chip prospects that we always like to talk about.”
CM Punk and Bron Breakker will clash at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
CM Punk and Bron Breakker are scheduled to compete in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. Punk’s team will feature The Usos, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns.
Breakker, meanwhile, will be joined by fellow Vision member Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar. The Beast and The OTC made their return this past Monday on RAW to complete the men’s lineup.
