Bully Ray hopes Maxxine Dupri will enter a rivalry with a former champion following her big title win.
Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the November 17, 2025, episode of WWE RAW. Dupri is elated following her big title win, and while fans are awaiting what’s next for the new champion, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray hopes she feuds with former Women’s Champion Natalya.
Apart from their on-screen partnership, Maxxine Dupri worked with Natalya in the Dungeon on her in-ring skills. Fans and wrestling personalities pointed out how much Dupri has improved over the past few weeks. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that WWE should book a storyline that shows Natalya getting jealous over Maxxine’s new success and turn heel by embracing the Nattie character she used in a few matches outside WWE.
“I think we’re all patiently and hopefully waiting for the right opportunity to get the version of Nattie that we all want to see, or get the version of Natalya that we all want to see, which is Nattie,” he said. “I think the table is set now that Maxxine is the champion and, you know, Nattie can become jealous because Nattie’s the one that got her there.”
Bully Ray also added that Natalya‘s unsuccessful attempt at taking the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch could be used to build up her feud with Maxxine Dupri.
“Becky beat Nattie quite handily a couple of months ago, but Maxxine got the one, two, three. Nattie could always say, ‘Yeah, but you needed help from AJ Lee. And Maxxine can be like, ‘Why can’t you be happy for me?’ And Nattie’s like, ‘I am happy for you, but don’t forget who got you to this place,'” Ray added. [H/T WrestlingInc]
