Maxxine Dupri is on cloud nine after becoming the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

With some help from a returning AJ Lee, Dupri defeated Big Time Becks to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Following her huge victory, Maxxine Dupri took to Instagram to share her happiness and thank those who helped her along the way. Her post read:
“I thought I would wake up today with the words to describe what Monday night meant to me, but alas here I am never wanting to wake up from this dream ? Madison Square Garden, I LOVE YOU. WWE Universe, I LOVE YOU. @thedungeon2.0, I LOVE YOU. @flatbackstraining, I LOVE YOU. @shanehelmscom, I LOVE YOU. The Performance Center, I LOVE YOU. My Alpha Babes, I LOVE YOU. @aluke23, I LOVE YOU. My day one support crew (you know who you are), I LOVE YOU. @theajmendez, I LOVE YOU. My insanely supportive parents, I LOVE YOU. This win is so much bigger than me – I wouldn’t be here without EVERY single person that guided me along the way. And now it’s back to the lab, because I never want to let go of this feeling. We have so much more work to do. Thank you for being on this ride with me. ❤️? XO, The IConic Champ”
Maxxine Dupri Credits WWE Star for Helping Her Get Better in the Ring
Maxxine Dupri has been receiving high praise from wrestling fans for the improvement she has showcased in her in-ring work. During her recent appearance on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast, the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion credited her old on-screen mentor, Chad Gable, for helping her get better in the ring.
“Oh my gosh, so much. He’s actually someone kind of what I was saying earlier, he’s a man of few words. So when he tells me something, I take it to heart, because he’s someone that can look at something creatively.
“Just the business, the mind he has for this business, he’s just able to zoom out and see everything and give me these pointers that I’m like, duh, why didn’t I think of that? But I would never, and he sees it so clearly. So I go to him a lot for things like that, because when it comes to matches and just his ability to understand this business truly is out of this world,” Maxxine Dupri said.
