Nikki Bella believes this current WWE Champion would make an excellent coach.
During a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella praised one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka, for making her opponents look good, calling her one of the all-time greats.
“And then there’s Asuka, who I think will forever be one of the greats,” Nikki said. “She just makes everything look so easy, and she’s another one who tells really good stories. And you know what I really love about her? From people I’ve worked with — because I’ve worked with so many different people over the past 18 years — I love when people care about the match and not just about themselves.
“When I got to work with Asuka, I was like, ‘Whoa, she’s truly about the match and about everyone looking good, or however many people are in it. She just wants to put on an incredible match.’”
Nikki Bella thinks Asuka would make a great coach
“Sometimes you’ll go to do something, and it’s about the person wanting to get all their stuff in, and you’re like, ‘Oh,’ and it’s like pulling teeth. But you’re the same. There are a lot of women who are like that, especially more so in this era. It just made me fall in love with her even more. She’s so giving, and I think she would make an incredible coach one day if she wanted to be…”
Nikki Bella is scheduled to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship this Saturday at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. As for Asuka, she will be part of the Women’s WarGames Match.
