There’s an update on Nikki Blackheart’s WWE ring name after her debut on NXT.
Nikki Blackheart made her televised WWE debut on last night’s episode of NXT. She appeared after the main event match, attacked Tatum Paxley, and locked her in the Torture Rack to close the show. Commentator Vic Joseph didn’t address her by name throughout the segment, but said, “We all know who that is,” and she was “One of the most talked about women in the industry today.”
Now, F4WOnline‘s Bryan Alvarez has provided an update on Blackheart’s WWE ring name. He noted that the promotion didn’t announce her name because of ongoing trademark issues.
“Apparently, some trademark things involving Nikki Blackheart aren’t finalized, which is why she had no name whatsoever in her NXT debut last night. But she’ll likely have a name by this time next week,” he wrote.
However, Cory Hays of False Finish hinted that “Reina Volcan,” which WWE applied to trademark on June 8, could be Nikki Blackheart’s new ring name.
Before making her first televised appearance, Nikki Blackheart made her in-ring debut in a dark match on the May 19, 2026, episode of NXT. She competed under the name Martinez, which was later revealed to be a tribute to her late mother, Carmen, who adopted her when she was 12.
Blackheart is a former cheerleader for the Florida Panthers. She trained under wrestling legend Gangrel at the Coastal Championship Wrestling training facility. She entered WWE as part of the Performance Center class, which included NXT’s Mason Rook.
