Dominik Mysterio beat up “John Cena” on WWE RAW.
On Monday night, Mysterio came to the ring and cut a promo about his upcoming match with John Cena. Mysterio said he was going to take his title back, and mocked the fans for cheering since Cena isn’t even there tonight. Cena’s music surprisingly cued up in the arena, and Mysterio reacted like he was upset. The fans continued to go nuts for Cena, who made his final advertised appearance on RAW last week.
A little person dressed as John Cena made his way to the stage, followed by a little person cameraman named Stu, a rib on the longtime WWE camera operator. Wade Barrett affectionately referred to the little Cena as “John Wee-na.”
Mini Cena came into the ring and said, “Fine speech, Dominik,” mocking Cena’s promo style. Mini Cena went off-script, according to Dominik, who whispered to stick to the plan. Dominik then took offense when Mini Cena took a playful dig at him. Dominik pump kicked Mini Cena across the ring, then hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle and choked him on the ropes. Dirty Dom roughed him up a bit more before hitting a top rope frog splash.
Rey Mysterio, one of Dominik’s three fathers, ran down to the ring and chased Dominik out of the ring before staying for his match against JD McDonagh.
