WWE Survivor Series WarGames Results: Review, Grades, Card For Nov 29

Our WWE Survivor Series WarGames results for tonight include John Cena defending the Intercontinental Championship against the Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterio, Hall of Famer Nikki Bella challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship, and the WarGames commence when World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns battle The Vision (Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Bronson Reed), Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar, and Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee clash with The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from Petco Park in San Diego, California.

  • Women’s WarGames Match: Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch
  • Intercontinental Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella

WWE Survivor Series WarGames Results:

Women’s WarGames Match: Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch

Charlotte Flair and Asuka are the first two women in the match. Flair and Asuka trade strikes. Flair floors Asuka with a shoulder block. Asuka stuns Flair’s leg on the top rope. Kawada kicks by Asuka. Flair dives off the top into a knee strike from Asuka. Asuka lights Flair up with kicks. Flair eats a suplex followed by a shining wizard from Asuka. IYO SKY is out next. SKY is carrying a custom trash can lid with her name on it. Asuka and SKY fight over the trash can lid. Asuka superkicks Flair. SKY catches Asuka with a bullet train attack with the trash can lid. SKY drop toe holds Asuka on the metal plate between the rings.

Becky Lynch is out next, with a kendo stick. Lynch lights up SKY and Asuka. Lynch and Flair have a face-off that ends with them landing suplexes on Asuka and SKY, respectively. Flair and Lynch trade strikes. Lynch chokes Flair against the cage. Alexa Bliss is out next. Bliss saves Flair. Bliss lands a flurry of terrible dragon screws. Flair and Bliss hit stereo Natural Selections. Kairi Sane is next. Sane is carrying a chain. Sane blasts Bliss with the chain. Flair gets choked by Sane after Sane blasts Bliss with a chain-wrapped right hand. Asuka tosses SKY off the top into a trash can lid shot from Sane.

AJ Lee is out next. Lynch holds the door shut to stop Lee from entering the cage. Lee climbs the cage to avoid Lynch. Lee dives off the top and flattens Asuka and Sane with a crossbody. Lynch and Lee are the only women left standing. Lynch tries to run away. Lee tosses Lynch into the cage. Shining Wizard by Lee. Sane attacks Lee from behind. Asuka and Lee square up. Sane and Lynch attack Lee from behind. Flair and SKY make the save.

Nia Jax is next out. Jax hits the ring and destroys everyone. Rhea Ripley is last up for the good guys. Ripley is carrying a trash can full of weapons. Jax eats the trash can after Ripley tossed it at her face. Everyone lands a big move. Lash Legend is out last.

Now, The WarGames Begin!

Legend tosses SKY into the cage and levels Lee with a elbow strike. Bliss charges in and gets ragdolled by Legend. Legend chokeslams Flair into oblivion. SKY dives off the top into an elbow from Legend. Ripley steps up to Legend. Ripley and Legend trade strikes. Legend obliterates Ripley with a big boot. Ripley kicks out. Ripley sets up her finish. Jax breaks it up. Legend and Jax lands stereo powerbombs. Lynch Manhandle Slams Lee. SKY breaks up the pin with the Over the Moonsault. Legend breaks up SKY’s pin.

Legend and Jax press slams Flair and Bliss into the rest of the faces. The Kabuki Warriors hit their finish on SKY. Ripley breaks up the pin. The heels surround Ripley. Asuka accidentally mists Legend. Flair and Ripley suplex Jax. Bliss lands Twisted Bliss on Jax. Ripley gives Lee uppies so she can hand SKY a trash can. SKY lands a dive that takes out everyone but Lynch. Lynch tries to run away. Ripley hits Riptide on Lynch. Lee traps Lynch in the Black Widow. Lynch taps out.

Winners- Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee

Grade: B-

Fun match. Loved that they gave Legend the spotlight to close the match.

Intercontinental Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio w/Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez

After a headlock exchange, Dominik takes over and stomps out Cena. Dominik distracts the referee while Rodriguez decks Cena. Three Amigos by Dominik. Cena kicks out. The fight spills out of the ring. Dominik tries a rana off the apron, but it goes poorly. Dominik lands on his head. The referee checks on Dominik and throws up the X. The medical staff checks on Dominik. In the ring, Rodriguez sneaks up on Cena and powerbombs him.

Perez drops Cena with Pop Rocks! Rodriguez and Perez set Cena up on the ropes. Dominik is back up! Dominik was faking! 619 followed by a splash from Dominik. The referee refuses to count and gets in Dominik’s face. The referee kicks Perez and Rodriguez from ringside. Dominik lands another 619 and splash. Cena kicks out. Cena hits an AA out of nowhere. Dominik kicks out. Cena accidentally shoulder blocks the referee. Dominik walks into an STFU.

JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor hit the ring and attack Cena. Cena blasts Bálor and McDonagh with a double AA. Liv Morgan‘s music hits. Morgan runs down to the ring. Morgan slaps Dominik! Cena is shocked. Morgan leaps on Cena and hugs him. Morgan kicks Cena in the balls. Cena hits a shot with the IC Championship from Morgan. 619 by Dominik. Dominik splashes Cena for the win!

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio!

Grade: B+

Great match. The Morgan return was well done, and Dominik is entering god-level when it comes to cheating. This match was overbooked in the best way possible.

Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Bella attacks Vaquer before the bell rings. Vaquer catches Bella with a dropkick. Leg drop by Vaquer. The fight spills out of the ring. Bella slams Vaquer’s knee into the ring apron. Bella works over Vaquer. Vaquer fires up and gets a few nearfalls. Corner dragon screw by Vaquer. SVB by Vaquer. Bella kicks out. Bullet train attack by Vaquer. Vaquer goes up top. Bella cuts Vaquer off and tosses her to the mat.

Disaster kick by Bella. Rack Attack 2.0 by Bella. Vaquer gets her foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. The fight spills out to the apron. Bella tries an apron powerbomb. Vaquer counters with a diving knee drop to Bella’s throat. Vaquer gives Bella the Devil’s Kiss on the commentary desk. Devil’s kiss in the ring by Vaquer. Vaquer hits the Devil’s Lament for the win.

Winner and STILL Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer!

Grade: B

Best match of Nikki Bella’s career. Heel Bella is the best Bella.

Men’s WarGames Match: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar

CM Punk is out for Team Punk first. Bron Breakker is out for Team Vision. Breakker tosses Punk around the ring. Calf kick by Punk. Breakker tries to press slam Punk into the cage, but Punk slips off. Punk lands a few leg kicks, followed by a diving ax handle. Punk tries again, but Breakker counters with a suplex. Drew McIntyre is out next. Breakker tosses Punk into a Claymore from McIntyre. McIntyre and Breakker beat down Punk. Cody Rhodes is out next. McIntyre holds the door closed. Rhodes climbs the cage and lands a dive.

Cody Cutter by Rhodes to Breakker. Rhodes accidentally pushes Punk, who is busted open. Punk and Rhodes drop McIntyre with the Hart Attack Clothesline. Doomsday Device by Punk and Rhodes. Breakker lands on his head in the process. Rhodes and Punk beat down McIntyre. Logan Paul is out next. Rhodes and Paul fight on top the cage. The heels beat down the faces. Jimmy Uso is out next. Jimmy slams the cage door on Breakker’s head. Jimmy brings a table into the ring. Paul and Breakker walk into a whisper in the wind by Jimmy.

Breakker runs over Jimmy with a lariat. Bronson Reed is out next. Reed crushes every member of Team Punk with Tsunamis. Team Vision beats down Team Punk. Jey Uso is next up. Jey clears the ring with a series of superkicks and hip attacks. Jimmy and Jey land a series of double superkicks on all of the heels. Paul gets demolished by the 1D. Jey asks the crowd if they want to run it back. Spoiler alert: they do. Jey yeets with the crowd. Brock Lesnar’s music hits. Lesnar walks to the ring with Paul Heyman. Lesnar hits the ring and suplexes EVERYONE.

Jey Uso is next up. Jey clears the ring with a series of superkicks and hip attacks. Jimmy and Jey land a series of double superkicks on all of the heels. Paul gets demolished by the 1D. Jey asks the crowd if they want to run it back. Spoiler alert: they do. Jey yeets with the crowd. Brock Lesnar’s music hits. Lesnar walks to the ring with Paul Heyman. Lesnar hits the ring and suplexes EVERYONE. To add on to that, Lesnar F5s everyone. Lesnar grabs a chair and works over the field. Last out is Roman Reigns. Lesnar drops the chair and leaves the ring to meet Reigns.

Now, The WarGames Begin!

Lesnar F5s Reigns. Punk breaks up the pin. Punk GTS’ Lesnar. Rhodes follows that with Crossroads. Paul breaks it up with a splash. Heyman hands Paul brass knuckles. Paul decks Rhodes and Jimmy. Reigns cuts Paul in half with a Spear. Reigns takes Paul’s knucks and drops Reed and McIntyre with Superman Punches. Breakker bows up at Reigns.

Reigns Spears Breakker. Jey holds Lesnar in place so Reigns can Spear Lesnar through a table. Lesnar picks Jey up for an F5. Reigns Spears both men through the table! Punk lands a GTS on Breakker. A masked man climbs the cage and Crub Stomps Punk. Breakker Spears Punk for the win.

Winners- The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar

Grade: B

Fun, brutal match. That was obviously Austin Theory, who was in the mask that cost Punk the match. Not sure where this is going, but this writer is up for the ride.
