John Cena’s last match will be an event that everyone wants to witness. That includes one currently injured WWE Superstar, who says he’ll be in attendance for the milestone event.
Rollins appeared on the Rich Eisen Show and shared that he’s finally going to attend his first Chicago Bears games of the 2025 NFL season. Rollins, a huge Bears fan who loves football (most of the time), said that he’s also going to be in attendance for John Cena’s retirement match.
“Breaking news, I’m going to my first Bear games of the season coming up,” Rollins revealed. “[I’ll be at] the Cleveland game, and then we’re going to the Packer game. I’ve got to.”
Seth Rollins is also making an important stop in Washington, D.C.
“John Cena—yeah, we’re going to do some traveling. [We’ll] stop through Chicago for the Cleveland game. We have a nice little route back from D.C. after John Cena’s last match. Then we’re going home for the holidays to Iowa, and so it’s easy to fly into Chicago and stay an extra night,” Rollins told Eisen. “We’ll go to that Packer game, and then hopefully—I’m hoping at that point, the Lions have lost enough [and the Bears] can get two wins on the Packers and that’ll be it for the [NFC] North. That’s my dream.”
Eisen joked that Rollins is using Cena’s last moment in WWE to embrace his Bears fandom.
“That’s right, for my own well-being,” Rollins quipped. “That’s his giving gift to me, he’s gifting me on Tuesday a nice pathway to Chicago.”
Rollins is currently dealing with a shoulder injury, but he hopes to be back in time for WrestleMania 42. The former world champion is still not cleared to compete. However, Rollins’ return was teased on WWE programming at Saturday’s Survivor Series event in San Diego.
John Cena’s retirement match will take place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
