Despite the fan speculation, there is currently no confirmation that Dempsey is involved in the tournament. However, Regal did respond after learning about the tribute from the 17-time world champion.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Regal shared a playful message about his son’s appearance in the photo. He wrote, “My wife’s just told me that John Cena has been kind enough to put a photo of my lad Charlie on SM. Unfortunately, Charlie has a daft sense of humour and thinks it’s funny to flatten his hair and pull gormless faces so he looks like he’s in a Super Tramp tribute band. I bollock him and he just giggles.”
