The Undertaker doesn’t like it when people ask for his advice but don’t use it.
Speaking to Michelle McCool and Bayley on his Six Feet Under podcast, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker expressed disappointment in wrestlers who seek his advice but fail to apply it to their in-ring performances.
“What really pisses me off is when I go, and people will come and say, ‘Hey, you know, you got anything for me?'” The Undertaker began, “Like, I’ve obviously watched (their matches), and you’re asking me for feedback, and then I give you my feedback, and I give you my time, and then not apply [his advice].”
The Undertaker further noted that some of those wrestlers just want to be seen asking him for advice. Which is why he started telling them they’re not going to listen to his advice anyway.
“There’s a few people, because they’ll come up and it’s almost like, ‘Just I want to be seen asking.’ It’s just lip service. They don’t apply it. Why ask me if you’re not gonna apply it?
“It may not be the right advice for you. Like, I may give you this, and Stone Cold may give you this, and they may be complete opposite. What your job is, is to figure out,” The Undertaker said.
The Undertaker Revealed The Match He’s Most Fond Of
Speaking on a recent episode of the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast, The Undertaker named his WrestleMania 25 clash against Shawn Michaels as the match he’s most proud of.
“So the match I’m probably (most fond of) as far as a wrestling purist kind of matches, would have to be WrestleMania 25, Shawn Michaels,” Taker said. “That was as close to perfect as I ever got, right? I mean, it was just one of those things in the moment (looks at the screen). Yeah, that was at Reliant Stadium in Houston. I was probably around 305 lbs there, and Shawn is probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, in-ring talents ever.
“In this match, we were both in our forties—late in both of our careers. So, we had this one at WrestleMania 25. We came back and ran it back at WrestleMania 26. The stipulation was his career against the streak, which at that point was my selling point. It was the WrestleMania undefeated streak,” The Undertaker said.
