Stephanie McMahon is giving credit where it’s due to a current WWE Superstar.
Last week, Bayley hosted a three-day Lodestone seminar to help experienced female independent wrestlers in Orlando, Florida. The seminar featured multiple surprise guests, including Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and John Cena.
Former WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon took to social media this afternoon to praise Bayley’s endeavor, thanking her for both her leadership and sacrifice, tweeting out:
“Thank YOU for your leadership and sacrifice @itsBayleyWWE! And for helping mentor and grow the next generation of female wrestlers! @JohnCena showed up, as did everyone else, because of the opportunity YOU created (and mostly paid for out of your own pocket). The future is in excellent hands *praying hands emoji* #Lodestone2025,” Stephanie McMahon said in a post.
Bayley explains her decision to host Lodestone 2025
Bayley was a recent guest on the Nikki & Brie Show. During her appearance, the RAW Superstar explained her decision to host this event in the first place.
“The main reason I want to do this is, one, there’s so many talented women out there that are unsigned right now,” Bayley said. “And you’re seeing it more and more every week, and it’s beautiful to see it grow. But I don’t want there to be this huge gap of independent wrestlers and women that are signed, or people that are signed, whether it’s TNA, WWE, AEW, somebody with a contract, someone without a contract, I don’t want there to be this big gap.
“Because, to me, maybe not everybody, but I know there’s a big group of us, we care about independent wrestlers, and we need them. Because we’re not gonna be here forever, we need them to be ready to go, as ready as they can when they get these contracts. I think this seminar can open doors and can open opportunities.”
