Stephanie McMahon really enjoyed Shane Gillis’s Donald Trump impersonation.
Speaking with Tony Hinchcliffe on her What’s Your Story podcast, former WWE Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon said that she loved Shane Gillis and Adam Ray’s Donald Trump and Joe Biden impersonations on the Kill Tony live comedy podcast back in July 2024. She also noted that Gillis and Ray looked like Statler and Waldorf, the critics from The Muppets, during the performance.
“It was really funny. They became like the critics in The Muppets. They were always my favorite.”
Tony Hinchcliffe chimed in, saying, “Shane as Trump is just diabolical, it’s insane. After Trump and Biden had that wacky debate, I threw it together so fast. Adam Ray had never done a Joe Biden before.”
Stephanie McMahon then said she enjoyed Adam Ray as Joe Biden, especially for his mannerisms.
Stephanie McMahon Shares The Most Horrifying Thing WWE Fans Chanted At Her
Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast alongside Paul Heyman, Stephanie McMahon revealed the most horrifying thing the WWE fans have chanted at her.
“The things they say sometimes! I mean, it’s really funny.” When asked what her favorite fan chant was, Stephanie McMahon replied, “My most horrifying was ‘She’s got side meat.’ I hate that one! ‘Steph’s got side meat!’ It was so mean, and I was wearing something that showed that part of my body.
“Chicago, it’s ‘She’s a crackwh**e; most everywhere else it was sl*t. And that was a very long time ago. I’m sure our viewers have no idea currently that time period ever happened, but yeah, it did.
“They chanted sl*t right off the bat,” Stephanie McMahon continued, “as soon as I turned heel, and it was so great. I was like, ‘What are they chanting?’ Because it was at Armageddon, which was December of ’99, and probably the only date and time I could ever actually quote of anything that happened, and it was the night that I did the heel turn and got with Paul (Levesque), in storyline and not in reality, and like the next day, I think, where were we? We were in Florida, and they came with the sl*t chant, and it was the greatest thing I have ever heard.
“Because nobody else got chanted at that way. Like sl*t? I was like, ‘What are they saying? Sl*t?’ It’s like, that’s fantastic, arenas of people, thousands of people chanting sl*t at me. It’s the best. That’s the greatest. I mean, who can say that? Not many people.”
