Former WWE Champion Cast In New Sports Drama

A former WWE Champion has been cast in an upcoming sports drama.

Sidney Akeem, formerly known in WWE as Reggie and SCRYPTS, has been cast in an IVIZION Media production, according to a report from PWInsider.

IVIZION Media is a Bahamas-based group, and their upcoming project is a family-friendly sports drama titled Dream On.

The feature film also stars former WWE Superstar Omari J. Palmer (aka Odyssey Jones), WCW icon Ernest “The Cat” Miller, and Alexis Gray. Gray previously competed for WWE under the ring name Kaylia Capri and is the reigning All Caribbean Wrestling Women’s Champion.

“Being part of Dream On and filming here in The Bahamas means everything to me,” Capri said. “This film represents heart, resilience, and community, and to be able to tell a story like this in the place that shaped me is truly special. I hope it inspires young people to believe in themselves and never stop chasing their dreams.”

Reggie is a former four-time WWE 24/7 Champion. He competed on the main roster from 2020 to 2022 before appearing on NXT, where he was repackaged as SCRYPTS and aligned with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price to form O.T.M. before his exit from the company.

As for Jones, he was released from WWE in the aftermath of domestic abuse allegations last year.
