MJF Becomes A Victim Of Phrasing After Threatening Brodie Lee Jr.

MJF certainly has a way with words, but sometimes those words come back to haunt him.

It’s no secret that Maxwell Jacob Friedman likes to live his character in and out of the squared circle. Regardless of what the circumstances are.

While memories of the untimely passing of Brodie Lee were shared on social media, his wife, Amanda Huber, shared a memory from the AEW Brodie Lee Tribute Show and how MJF treated her son, Brodie Lee Jr., during the event, tweeting out:

“As much as a piece of shit @The_MJF is, I’ll never forget the tribute show. He was his terrible self to Brodie all day. When everyone else was extra nice, Max stayed horrible. Why? Because Max knew how much Brodie loved wrestling. He knew he needed that escape. That ability to enjoy the thing he loved more than anything in the world. It also made it extra gratifying when Brodie finally hit him *purple heart emoji,*” Amanda Huber said in a post.

Friedman caught wind of this post and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to reply. However, he might have thought to choose his words more carefully, tweeting back:

“Second that kid turns 18 he’s F*CKED,” MJF said in response.

Social media had a field day with Friedman’s response, making him the latest victim of “phrasing.” MJF tried to respond quickly to clarify his statement, but it was already too late, tweeting out:

“NOT LIKE THAT! STOP! I mean I’m gonna beat him up!!!!” MJF said in a follow-up post.
