Collectors are buzzing after Mattel’s WWE x Street Fighter Series 4 figures have seemingly leaked online.
A wrestling action figure collector took to X/Twitter to note that the lineup for the WWE x Street Fighter Series 4 action figures has seemingly leaked on Walmart’s website. The lineup mashes WWE legends with Street Fighter icons in 6-inch figures, priced at $22.97 each.
While some of them are already out, the three circled figures, Mark Henry as Balrog, Shawn Michaels as Vega, and a TBD Player 2, are the ones that have leaked. Previous waves featured collector favorites, like Rey Mysterio as Ryu, The Rock as Bison, and Ultimate Warrior as Blanka.
Fans are already speculating about the TBD Player 2 figure, which some believe could be WWE legend John Cena as Guile.
WWE’s Cody Rhodes Says Offer To Play Guile In Street Fighter Was A Surprise To Him
Speaking on All The Smoke, former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter live-action movie, shared his thoughts on being a part of the film, saying he was “blessed to be part of” the project.
“I was so glad I got to do that, (to) try to tell stories in a different way, and that crew — Callina (Lian), (Andrew) Koji, Noah (Centineo), the three leads of this movie, Andrew Schulz, 50 Cent is playing Balrog — it was such a ridiculous moment to have everyone on set, but it was so well organized. We were rehearsing like we were actually gonna be fighting somebody. On the weekend, because everybody was locked in Australia, going over all the dialogue together, it was just a really well-oiled machine,” the WWE star said.
Speaking further, the former WWE Champion revealed that he initially thought he was only going in for a normal meeting with Legendary Pictures, but discovered that they already wanted him to play Guile in Street Fighter.
“I went into a meeting thinking I was gonna talk to them about other stuff, and they told me, ‘We want you for Guile.’ And I know the role I used to play (Street Fighter),” he said.
