CM Punk can keep his feud with Seth Rollins going while still being able to say something “nice.”
Punk and Rollins have had one of WWE’s most heated feuds in recent memory. Despite not actively working with each other on television right now, the pair constantly find ways to take digs at each other in the media.
AJ Lee and CM Punk’s appearance on the latest episode of Hot Ones Versus was no different.
During the segment, AJ named her “six grandfathers” of pro wrestling, rather than submitting a list of four names for her Mount Rushmore.
When AJ got to the end, she described how talented the current crop of WWE women’s wrestlers is, and mentioned Becky Lynch as being on that list.
CM Punk actually said something “nice” about Seth Rollins
“I love Becky, don’t you dare [give me grief],” AJ said to Punk, who rolled his eyes. AJ told her husband that Lynch’s husband, Seth Rollins, is not a reflection of who she is. Punk disagreed, however, and called Rollins a little bitch for eating a wing of death instead of complimenting him.
“I mean, it kind of is,” Punk said. “I did see the clip of Becky and Seth [on this show], Becky pulled a card, and it said, ‘Say something nice about CM Punk or eat a wing.’ And that little bitch just ate a wing.
When asked if he would do the same, CM Punk said no, he would not avoid saying something positive about Rollins.
“No, I would just gleefully say he really punched above his weight,” Punk said, which got the room to laugh. “That’s nice, right?”
