Becky Lynch is pretty much a household name when it comes to professional wrestling, but how does Rebecca Quinn feel about her WWE name?
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch was a recent guest on Going Deep with Nick Viall. When asked why she has so many nicknames, Becky shockingly revealed that it’s because she hates her WWE character name.
“I’m a big fan of a moniker because I hate my name,” Becky said. “I love Rebecca Quinn. Rebecca Quinn rocks. What a great name. Lynch, eh. It just doesn’t roll off the tongue. I came up with name that I thought were super cool, and they kept saying, ‘No.’ Eventually, they got a combination of Becky and an Irish name. Lynch was one of the ones they approved. I wanted to keep a bit of my own name, so it’s less confusing. I didn’t feel like I could push back, so I was like, ‘Okay.'” [H/T: Fightful]
