WWE welcomed its newest Superstar in grand fashion.
Ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh announced that WWE officially signed Fahd Tuwaiq, a champion Saudi Arabian powerlifter.
“I am Fahd Tuwaiq, the first Saudi super heavyweight joined to WWE,” Tuwaiq said in his introductory video. “I want to change the world and WWE will be my stage to do it. Came from the north of the Kingdom, the city of Neom, because I’m a champion with arm wrestling and powerlifting.
Tuwaiq was officially welcomed to the company at the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show in Saudi Arabia on Friday morning. Michael Cole introduced Tuwaiq to the crowd, who cheered loudly for the Saudi Arabian native.
“I’m really proud to be here in my country,” Tuwaiq told Cole. “Between my people, this changes the whole world! Royal Rumble will be awesome, it will be great!”
He said (in Arabic) that his training in the United States has been going well, then hyped the Rumble event a bit more and plugged WrestleMania 43.
Jey Uso welcomed him with open arms, too:
WWE did not announce when Tuwaiq would make his official in-ring debut.
