Will Dominik Mysterio show up for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?
Reigning WWE Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio has been out of action since sustaining a shoulder injury at AAA Guerra de Titanes in December 2025. While earlier reports noted that he’s among several absent stars expected to be at the Royal Rumble, a latest update indicates that he might not be anywhere near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble taking place this Saturday, Las Vegas-based independent promotion Future Stars of Wrestling took to X/Twitter to post a picture of Dominik Mysterio with their wrestlers at the FSW Arena in Vegas yesterday.
“Great to have WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio at the @FSWVegas Arena. Hopefully he listened to all the advice we gave him and help him get over.”
However, fans should take this update with a pinch of salt. It’s possible that Dominik Mysterio could’ve been at the FSW arena earlier, and still potentially have time to fly over to Saudi Arabia, or could already be there at this point.
The deliberate timing, right as most of the WWE roster has reached Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble, screams intentional messaging: Dominik Mysterio is still in Vegas. Chief Content Officer Triple H teased a lot of surprises for both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, and this picture could be a tactic to keep the fans guessing about Dirty Dom’s status.
