WWE’s Liv Morgan Reveals When She’ll Choose Her WrestleMania Opponent

Liv Morgan shares her plans after winning the 2026 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match.

After appearing in every Women’s Royal Rumble since its inception in 2018 and ending up as the runner-up in 2023 and 2024, Liv Morgan finally won the match. She entered the contest as the 14th entrant, eliminated Nattie and her Judgment Day partner, Raquel Rodriguez, earlier on, before finally eliminating Tiffany Stratton to punch her ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 42.

She can challenge for either the Women’s World Championship or the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. After her victory, Liv Morgan appeared on the Royal Rumble post-show, and fans expected her to reveal which champion she is going after.

Morgan started things off by talking about eliminating Raquel Rodriguez from the match.

“I know Raquel Rodriguez better than anyone else on this planet. I know Raquel, and she is not a selfish human being. She is No.1 contender for the Women’s World Championship, and now I have an opportunity to win a championship as well. I’m sure she’s happy for me,” Liv Morgan said.

Liv Morgan then dedicated her victory to Dominik Mysterio. Peter Rosenberg described her WWE journey leading to this moment and asked her when she felt things finally started to click for her. Morgan noted that with time, growth, experience, and love for the craft, she believes it was finally her time.

Liv Morgan doesn’t want to be hasty in choosing her WrestleMania opponent

When Big E asked which champion she would be going after at WrestleMania 42, Liv Morgan noted that she doesn’t want to be hasty. She said she would make her decision when the time is right.

“I have the choice to choose any champion that I want, and I don’t want to make a brash decision. I don’t want to rush my decision. So I’m gonna take my time, and I will choose when the time is right, when I think it’s right, on who is right,” Liv Morgan said.
