Paul Heyman Says Wrestling Changed When This WWE Star Was Born

Paul Heyman is known for making big statements, and his latest one might be his boldest yet. In a recent interview, Heyman said there is one moment in wrestling history he wishes he could have seen in person.

Heyman, currently associated with the faction The Vision on WWE RAW with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul, said he truly believes one of his team members changed the wrestling business from the moment he was born.

The WWE Superstar in question is none other than Bron Breakker.

To Heyman, Breakker is not just another name in WWE. He sees him as a once-in-a-generation talent, someone who has both family legacy and athletic ability, and someone who sets a new standard for WWE superstars.

During his recent interview with IGN, Heyman was asked what wrestling story he wishes he could have been a part of. He answered, “It’s not really a wrestling story. It’s a human story about people in the business. I wish I was there for the birth of Bron Breakker because at that moment, this industry changed and the industry just didn’t know yet.”

Bron Breakker is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner. With that kind of background, grand expectations followed him from the start.

He made his WWE NXT debut in September 2021 and quickly became one of the brand’s top stars. From 2021 to 2024, he won the NXT Championship twice and also captured the NXT Tag Team Titles with Baron Corbin.

Breakker then moved to the main roster in February 2024. He first appeared on SmackDown before moving to Raw. He made an immediate impact.

At SummerSlam 2024, he defeated Sami Zayn to win his first Intercontinental Championship. Later that year, in October, he beat Jey Uso to win the title again, becoming a two-time champion.

By the end of 2025, Breakker became a part of The Vision.

At the start of 2026, Breakker looked ready to compete for a world title. He challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5 episode of RAW but didn’t win.

Then things got worse at the 2026 Royal Rumble when a masked attacker jumped him during his entrance. The attack resulted in his elimination from the match soon after that. Afterward, reports suggested that Breakker had hernia surgery in early February and would be out for an unknown amount of time.

There’s hope he could return by WrestleMania 42. But the recovery time will make it a huge task.
