Logan Paul is getting people talking again, and this time by teasing what he calls the “biggest wrestling match of all time” against Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny.
A few days ago, during Super Bowl LX, Paul said he wasn’t excited about the halftime show, which featured Bad Bunny. That created some controversy, as some fans took that as disrespect. However, he later clarified his comments to The Takedown SI.
Logan Paul Comments on Bad Bunny Bout Amid WrestleMania Buzz
On his recent IMPAULSIVE episode, Paul praised Bad Bunny’s wrestling skills and star power. He said Bunny is a world-renowned superstar who can really wrestle.
“Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar. He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler. He can f**king wrestle,” Paul said.
The YouTuber-turned wrestler made it clear he respects what Bad Bunny has done in WWE. In 2023, Bunny impressed fans by beating Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight in Puerto Rico. The WWE star also shared that there have been talks about a possible match and that he would love to make it happen. In his words, it could be the “greatest” WWE match ever.
Paul explained that he was partly joking and partly just not very interested in halftime shows in general. He said most of it was “work.”
“There have been talks about maybe us wrestling, like it’s been floated around. And like I’ve been candid about the fact that I would love to do. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that. And in that regard, any time I’m asked about Bad Bunny, I think that in the back of my mind, and so it’s like to set that up. And when I’m asked if I’m excited for the halftime show, saying “No” one word, “No,” it’s like. ‘Okay, now people are talking about it,'” he said.
“However, there is truth to the fact that, ‘Dog, I’m a 30-year-old man. I’m not excited about any halftime show.’ Bro, I don’t. I don’t care. Also didn’t even watch the game really that much. I’d say 80-20. 80 being work, 20 percent like, I don’t care if it’s Bad Bunny performing or someone else. They said, ‘Are you excited for the halftime show?’ I said no,” Paul added.
As WrestleMania talk continues, a match between Logan Paul and Bad Bunny doesn’t seem impossible. However, the artist’s availability would be a major concern.
Right now, Paul is regularly appearing on WWE Raw as part of the Paul Heyman-led Vision faction, alongside Bronson Reed and Austin Theory.
