X user @PulseNigeria247 posted a clip of an elderly woman performing her own version of Oba Femi’s trademark entrance.
“When your mother loves Oba Femi too much,” the account posted.
In a hilarious twist, the woman looks at the camera and gives the double-bird. Now, if only someone could get Oba to watch the clip and share his reaction.
Oba Femi discusses bringing WWE to Africa
In an interview with Going Ringside’s Scott Johnson, Oba Femi discussed the possibility of bringing WWE to Africa.
“One thousand percent. Yeah, one thousand percent. I do. I still think the market is very untapped. I don’t know if they realize how crazy people go for this company over there, but all they need is one show to make them realize it,” Oba Femi said.
The former NXT Champion also explained the mindset of viewers in his home country when it comes to the perception of WWE.
“I mean, it’s on TV. They see it as a respectable sport. They also understand that these guys are professional stuntmen who put their bodies on the line and what they do is risk. So, there’s a certain level of respect that goes into watching wrestling and wrestlers.”
Oba Femi is currently a free agent on WWE programming. He teased a feud with Rusev during their interaction this past Monday on RAW.
