LA Knight commented to a fan ribbing him about botching a move in the Elimination Chamber.
Saturday night’s Elimination Chamber match saw each competitor pulling out all the stops in an effort to secure a shot at the WWE Championship. LA Knight was one of the competitors in the match, and he attempted to hit his signature taunt before dropping an elbow on Randy Orton, who was lying below him on the mat.
As Knight finished his taunt, he went to jump, but ultimately slipped on the ropes and stumbled down onto the mat. Knight stayed on his feet, but the moment was an unfortunate error in the match. Fans on social media had a good laugh over it, with one sharing a clip of the screw-up on social media.
LA Knight responded to the video, apparently taking it in stride as he re-posted it along with a caption on his Stories.
“Haha it happens,” Knight wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Yet even if I fall, I land on my feet.”

LA Knight was not successful in his bid to win the Elimination Chamber
Randy Orton went on to win the 2026 Elimination Chamber, thanks in part to some help from Drew McIntyre, who interfered at the end. Randy Orton took advantage of McIntyre running in to attack Cody Rhodes, putting Rhodes away with an RKO for the win.
Despite Cody Rhodes losing the match, he’s still getting a title shot this Friday on SmackDown, as Nick Aldis essentially gave out the title shot as a way to deal with McIntyre’s constant interference. Orton recently commented on how he won the match, sharing that he’s not exactly salty about having to pick up a win that way.
