This WWE NXT Superstar would love the opportunity to interact with Blake Monroe.
Appearing on Going Ringside with Scott Johnson, former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley was asked to do word association with some of her peers in the locker room. The first name Johnson brought up was Blake Monroe.
Paxley noted that while she believes they have different mindsets, she feels she would get along well with the former NXT Women’s North American Champion. She added that they are both “very weird” in similar ways.
“Blake Monroe. Even before she was in NXT, she was always somebody that I just felt like — I don’t know — I feel like I would really get along with her. I think our minds are in different places, you know? I think we have different mindsets, but we’re both very weird in similar ways. And I would love the opportunity to just talk with her and see how we vibe, how we get together. I’ve always been very intrigued by Blake Monroe, as many of us are,” Paxley said.
Tatum Paxley credits Alexa Bliss for inspiring her wrestling career
Elsewhere in the same interview, Tatum Paxley revealed that Alexa Bliss played a significant role in inspiring her to become a professional wrestler.
She explained that a friend introduced her to WWE matches on YouTube. Although she did not grow up watching wrestling, Bliss quickly caught her attention and became a major influence on her decision to pursue the business.
Tatum Paxley is set to take on Izzi Dame for the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day this Saturday. As for Blake Monroe, she is scheduled to face Jaida Parker in singles competition at the event.
