WWE Star Says WrestleMania 42 Might Be Their Biggest Career Moment

Liv Morgan has high hopes for WWE WrestleMania 42.

For the first time in her in-ring career, Liv Morgan will compete in a singles bout on the main stage of WWE WrestleMania. Depending on the outcome, it may become her overall biggest career moment as well.

During an interview with Directors Cut Radio, Morgan addressed where her upcoming WWE Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 42 ranks amongst her career moments.

“Oh, well, you know, I think for me, it might end up ranking as number one, because after 11 years of hard work and dedication, I finally certified myself a spot in the WrestleMania event,” Morgan said. “Which day [will I perform on]? I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter because I’m going to walk out a champion. So I’m super excited.”

By winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Morgan earned the right to choose her WrestleMania opponent, who ultimately ended up being Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Morgan is a former Women’s World Champion, having held the title from May 2024 until January 2025.

In previous years, Morgan’s WrestleMania outings have largely involved multiple women, such as battle royals and tag team matches. In 2025, she and fellow Judgment Day member Raquel Rodriguez unsuccessfully defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Lyra Valkyria and a returning Becky Lynch. Morgan defeated “The Queen of Harts” Natalya on the WrestleMania 36 pre-show in 2020.

WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.
