Sexyy Red addresses her lack of physicality on WWE NXT.
Rapper Sexyy Red has made a number of appearances on WWE NXT programming, with the latest taking place at the 2026 Stand & Deliver event. Still, she has yet to get physical.
During an interview with Taylor Symone’ Harris TV, Red revealed why WWE hasn’t let her wrestle in a ring. “Oh yeah, I’m going to go to WWE. I’m going to go tonight to just watch. They want to see me in the crowd, but then tomorrow I’m going to be on the stage at WWE. So stay tuned. No, [I’m not wrestling]. They ain’t let me do no moves last time because they talk about I got to train [in the ring], but they might let me do something this time because I’ve been messing with them for so long,” she said in reference to NXT Stand & Deliver, which emanated from her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri on April 4.
Red opened Stand & Deliver alongside NXT head booker Shawn Michaels, noting that she’d be watching the action throughout the night alongside him. Together, Michaels and Red then hyped up the live audience.
Later in the show, Red appeared in backstage segments involving Ricky Saints, Tatum Paxley, Shiloh Hill, and the newly crowned NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice. As of this writing, it is unknown when Red will return to WWE next. Whether she will train for a potential in-ring debut is also unclear.
