Liv Morgan has responded to questions about her inclusion in the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament despite currently holding the Women’s World Championship.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place throughout June, leading up to the finals at WWE Night of Champions. The winners of the tournaments will earn championship matches at WWE SummerSlam.
Many fans were surprised when Morgan’s name was announced for the Queen of the Ring tournament, given that she is already the reigning Women’s World Champion.

Following the announcement, Chelsea Green took to X and wrote, “I’ve decided I’m leaving my title as North America’s savior behind and I’ll now be taking on world domination. ? @WWE” Morgan quickly replied, “Nope sorry.”
A fan then questioned Morgan’s participation in the tournament, writing, “Can you explain why you’re in the tournament when the winner faces the champion?” Morgan responded with a lengthy explanation, making it clear that she wants to add another accolade to her resume.
She wrote, “Gladly! Ahem…. I, THE Liv Morgan, am a 3x world champion, 4x tag team champion, inaugural crown jewel champion, MITB winner, rumble winner, & I have no challengers for my WWC because everyone is too scared to challenge me. Also, I have the most dominant faction in all of WWE watching my back so I totally get it. These girls are ?? but they’re not dumb. So me being the hard working go getter that I am, have decided to enter and win the QOTR tournament because I am better than everyone else and I want it ALL. Do u understand now?”
Morgan’s first-round match in the tournament will see her face Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Chelsea Green. The Queen of the Ring final will take place at WWE Night of Champions 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27, alongside the King of the Ring tournament final.
