CM Punk brought back one of his most iconic lines on WWE RAW, and fans noticed it instantly.
The moment felt familiar and very intense. Punk has delivered many memorable lines throughout his career. From “I’m the best in the world” to “Your arms are too short to box with God,” he has always stood out on the mic.
Even during his AEW run, he created viral moments. One of his biggest lines was, “Tell me when I’m telling lies.” He delivered this line upon returning on the debut episode of AEW Collision following the AEW Brawl Out incident, adding even more attention to the line.
Now on WWE television, that same line returned once more. This time, he used it during his confrontation with Roman Reigns ahead of WrestleMania 42, bringing back a familiar moment in a new setting.

On WWE RAW, Punk used that same line again. This time, he directed it at Roman Reigns. The segment quickly turned intense when Punk listed Reigns’ achievements during the promo. He mentioned his long title reign and talked about his WrestleMania main events.
However, he reacted to Roman Reigns’ opening promo vignette, where Reigns called him a hypocrite. Punk said after watching the cold open, it felt like a political smear campaign put together by Reigns.
He made it clear he was there to tell the truth. He said the people of Sacramento will be his witnesses, while Reigns can play judge, jury, and executioner if he wants. Then the moment came, and he delivered the line again. He said, “Tell me when I’m telling lies?”
That line is not new, however, as it originally became popular during his AEW run. Now, he has brought it back once again, this time on WWE television in a completely different setting. Punk also addressed something serious in the segment.
He apologized for mentioning Reigns’ father in a previous promo. Reigns responded calmly. He said he respects Punk’s connection with the fans. But he made one thing clear. He plans to win title.
The segment ended with a tense face-off. Now, everything leads to WrestleMania 42. Punk and Reigns will face each other in the main event of night two.
