Stone Cold Steve Austin did what he does best, as he was chugging beers at a Las Vegas bar.
WWE confirmed earlier that Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will be a part of the fan-focused WWE World experience at WrestleMania 42 weekend. The announcement led fans to speculate about the Texas Rattlesnake’s appearance at the PLE.
Steve Austin resides in Nevada and was also in attendance at Bloodsport XV in Las Vegas on Friday. It will be interesting to see if he appears at WrestleMania 42 on either night.
WrestleMania 42 Night 1 is currently underway at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Earlier today, Fuel Bar shared a video of Austin showing up and chugging beers at their Las Vegas location.
The video quickly gained traction and fans speculated that the video was new. However, it appears to be a re-shared video from his 2023 appearance when he was promoting his A&E series, “Stone Cold Takes on America.”
Eric Bischoff says Steve Austin is too smart to return for another match
Speaking on the 83 Weeks podcast (via Wrestling News), Eric Bischoff explained why he believes Stone Cold Steve Austin is too smart to return for another match.
“Steve is too smart for that, and he doesn’t need it,” Bischoff said. “I understand him saying the itch and wanting those moments, because there are moments that are really meaningful. I am sure in Steve’s career that he still thinks about and enjoys thinking about to this day.
“Steve also knows he can’t go out there and deliver on the audience’s expectation,” said Bischoff. “The audience has an unrealistic expectation when it comes to legends like Steve Austin. They want to see Steve back in the ring so that as a fan they can experience the moments they had previously with Steve when he was at the top of his game. But Steve also knows he can’t go out there and deliver on that.
“No performer wants to go out there knowing you are going to under deliver based on unrealistic expectations. Steve is not going to put himself in that position. He does not need the money. It is usually the only reason people do it,” he said about Steve Austin.
