Cody Rhodes is set to star in the upcoming Street Fighter movie as Guile, and recently got some massive praise heaped upon him by a crew member on set.
In a recent post on social media, hair and makeup artist Cheyenne Johnson shared a video of Rhodes and her throughout their time on set on the upcoming film. The video shows off Rhodes seeing Guile’s iconic hair, sitting in the makeup chair, and a few new looks of him posing with the wig on.
In the post, Johnson praised Rhodes as one of the “most professional” people to work with, and noted how inspiring it was to hear him talk about the upcoming movie. “Still on a high from working with the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, [Cody Rhodes!] I had the absolute honor of handling his wig install for his time here in Vegas. The mission? To transform him into his character the iconic Guile to celebrate the new Street Fighter movie,” wrote Johnson in the post.
“He is the kindest, most professional person to work with. Hearing him talk and seeing his passion for this project was truly inspiring. It was a massive team effort to bring this look to life, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.”
Rhodes isn’t the only wrestling star that’s set to star in the upcoming movie. Alongside him, Roman Reigns stars as Akuma, and NJPW star Hirooki Goto stars in the movie as E. Honda. The movie is set to release on October 16, 2026.
