Bloodline Relative Makes WWE Preference Clear Over AEW Amid Indie Success

Zilla Fatu recently made his wrestling future clear while discussing the possibility of joining WWE or AEW. The rising independent wrestling star has continued building momentum on the indie scene and many fans have wondered where he could eventually sign.

The son of late WWE star Umaga and a member of the legendary Anoa’i wrestling family. He has already gained attention for in-ring style and currently competes across several independent promotions.

Earlier this year, Zilla Fatu also faced former AEW World Champion MJF in a high-profile independent match. Although MJF picked up the win, the match increased speculation about whether Fatu could eventually join AEW or WWE.

While many fans want to see him become part of WWE’s Bloodline storyline, others believe he could succeed in AEW.

Zilla Fatu said his ‘heart is with WWE’ while discussing AEW possibility

Speaking on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Zilla Fatu was asked whether he would consider signing with AEW if WWE took too long to contact him. He said, “No, I think, uh, my heart is with the E right now,” Fatu said, referring to WWE.

The host then pointed out that most of his family members have built their legacy in WWE. Fatu agreed with the statement and explained that he wants to continue his family’s legacy rather than break away from it.

“Yeah. So, I’m not going to, uh, break that cycle. Come on. Hello. And then not only that, I got unfinished business as far as my dad’s legacy to fulfill. So, that’s why. Yeah. That’s why. Yeah. Yeah. So, I want to go over there and turn that sh*t up and, you know, at the same time, build my own brand.”

With Zilla Fatu continuing to gain popularity on the independent scene, many fans believe it may only be a matter of time before he eventually appears in WWE.
